Honda civic heat problem

Honda civic heat problem

Hello guys,

Recently i bought 8th generation Honda Civic.

the initial problems that in starting was faced and told by mechanic that car has weak head gasket and it was replaced. The car didnt have temperature valve which was then installed.
currently the problem i am facing is car is not heating up fans turn on at 101 centigrade and turns of at 96.

The problem is when I turn off engine than coolant boiling is heard from engine compartement.

Are you sure that’s not the AC making noise when you shut the car off? It’ll make a boiling-like sound. If you have boiling coolant, it means it won’t be pressurizing, which would probably indicate a leak somewhere.

Your fans sound like they’re working. Those temperatures seem accurate.

Thanks for replying.

I understand the sound of AC. But its like from the engine block or something and hosepipe are tight after turning of the engine

Currently mechanic is travelling somewhere. For him he is like drive it and that happens dont worry. I need to go around 1500 kms in few days and i am afraid if any coolant travelling pipe gets burst out in middle

Btw how it can be checked if its from AC

measure the temperature with something else and check if the engine is really overheating.
I don't know what you have available there... PK - Pakistan?

Yes Pakistan.

I have connected computer and it shows temperature within 96 to 101 thats it. Yesterday i tried changing engine cap but didnt work

not from car computer, actual engine temperature.
not sure if you can find laser temp measure equipment there.
If engine is at similar temps, you should be fine.
