06 Civic Stuck in Park

car overheated so I checked and filled coolant and oil. This morning the car is comepltely dead and will not shift out of park. I need to move car back to be able to access battery for a jump

There should be a little cover near the gear selector. Remove the cover and stick a screw driver in there to push the release mechanism. I believe your key actually fits in there at least on the older Honda’s it did.

Owners manual shows you this.
