2006 Civic ex lots of blue smoke at idle. bad pcv? valve seals? piston rings?
I noticed my exhaust has blue smoke coming out the back while at idle. I'm wondering if this is my pcv valve? I've read that it causes exhaust to smoke and some oil leaks, which there is some leaking around the valve cover. I've also taken into consideration that since I have 250k+ miles, could it be my valve seals or piston rings? I also recently gutted my cat but I do not think this has anything to do with it. if anyone could help me diagnose my problem it would be greatly appreciated. i can add some pictures of my spark plugs too if that helps.

The cat converts CO to CO2, as well as other types of gas. It's probably been burning oil for a while, and it's just easier to see now.
but yes chang PCV, they're like $12. It might reduce the problem, but its probably the rings or valve seals.

yea that's what I was thinking. I'll be replacing it this weekend and probably a leak down test as well.
