If you buy a cheap one that is only one layer thick it might scratch it, but most car covers have a soft lining so they will not scratch your paint. As long as it is tied down properly so it won't move around on your paint and scratch it you should be fine.

Yes, most covers are washable. They have machine wash instructions on the box.

Yep and don't wash it at your house in that washing machine. Its too small and go through the rinse cycle twice to get the soap out. Also whatever you do, DO NOT DRY IT, in the dryer hehe

Oh yeah and wash it with 2 cups of Liquid Fantastik Cleaner with some warm water.

I love my honda car cover

Yeah I had a bra on my car and I never took it off washing it. But yeah I was took it all off and was waxing it one day and my paint in a few spots looked faded and yep took it to the dealer here and they repainted my whole hood under warranty because they said the paint was messed up and it wasn't damaged by the bra?

But my dad has a 01 white accord and he has never had a problem with his paint fading and he has it on rain or shine also when he washes his car.
