Blue Magic Bug Remover

The usual tar and bug remover stuff just wasn't working for me. I got this bottle of Blue Magic bug remover at Advance Auto Parts. Just now tried it and it works great. It's a gel so it doesn't run. Really stubborn bug remains come off if you let set for a minute. The stuff is citrus instead of petroeum based and it smells like oranges. I think it will be easier on the paint than WD40 or kerosene, etc.

Then I rewaxed the front end and sprayed PAM dry fry all over. Took a wrag and wiped it smooth and also coated the front sides of the side mirrors. The idea is thet the bugs won't stick to the PAM and that being a vegetable oil, it can be washed off with soap and water, bugs and all.

I just took a drive down by the lake at 80- 90 MPH and collected some bugs. Got home and just wiped them off. No stick.

I use this stuff called bodyshop clean up by 3m, it's a concentrate. It works great on interior too. I have used to get black ink out of a white carpet. It works great as degreaser/ bug remover!
