Carpet in Civic
Carpet in Civic
My civic is like 7 months old today and i was cleaning it and I noticed my carpet was really crappy. It was really fuzzy and starting to wear already. I dont drive it that much I have 4k on it and i use floormats in the spot its starting to wear. When i mean its getting fuzzy its like the carpet is coming out and im starting to see the bottom, not the metal but like the matting the carpet is on. I was just wondering if anyone else had crappy carpet too? Also there are random cuts in my carpet below the front of the drivers side seat that look like they were there from the start. I didint put them there they are kinda in an h pattern. Anyone know What those are for?

Lol, yeah. It's not very good. I guess you could buy replacement carpet from the dealer, since it just pulls out. There's no glue or anything, just the panels holding it. Also, the cuts are for two hooks that the OEM floor mats come with. You can pull the cut carpet out and there is a screw hole to install them. It's to hold the mat in place. OEM mat has two holes in it for the hooks.

Lol im pretty sure if i replace the carpet i'd just have to do it again. What i really wanna do is get diamond plating on the floor i think it looks good but i dont wanna really pay for it. Ive come to terms with no matter what I do to the car its gonna take a lot of money to make it fast so im just gonna save towards another.
