even though this devin guy revived the thread... and just to let you know devin and pacotaco, it is proper forum etiquette to not "revive" old threads from the dead. look at the last date the thread was posted on. 8/08. so this thread has been dead for about 6 months and you brought it back. you should have a reason to revive threads, not to post your comments about them...
but in any case. i would like to know how this build is coming along. anyone know the whereabouts of the guy? if it has, i wonder if he has beaten andys whp mark.

There was an article in Popular Mechanics a while back about a 400hp civic, they used a prebuilt engine for civic called "The Beast" i guess.

in the mag they gave all the parts that went into it to make it this fast, but if i remeber correctly they said the only reason they got it to 400hp and it was reliable was because of the engine swap (figures), because the engine was built for the kind of turbo they put on it.

lol i have not been on this site in forever because i sold made civic over a year ago. the civic my 425hp on the dyno to the wheels using a t61 turbo that required a sh*t ton of modification to the front part of the frame to make it fit, wish i still had the dyno sheet to prove it to you guys but the guy i sold the civic to wanted it with the car. the engine was fully built with everything that you could imagine to put it shortly,lol thanks to the deployment money. if anyone is interested i can try and look up all the parts that made it possible. hope this answered the questions. i may have some pics laying around with it installed as well.

Sold the civic to pick up a mk4 supra lol very nice upgrade. Now you can easily break that 450 hp lol. I want to see some pics of the new beast as well.
