Rattling Noise Near Engine - 2002 Honda Civic LX

Hello,

I sometimes get this rattling noise that happens near the engine of my 2002 Honda Civic LX. It seems to happen most often when I'm starting up the car, and it's idling. After some time, it goes away. Lately it rarely happens. I've attached an audio file of it, does anyone know what it might be?

Check also for loose splash shields around the front brake rotors. They can also corrode to the point of breaking off their fasteners just like the exhaust heat shields mentioned in the post above.
