Overheating
only the HX has the extra cooler. and yea you need a cooler, no such thing as stock is good enough. 90% of all transmission failure is due to heat, so obviously somethings wrong there. on hot days waiting at long lights, i usually put my car in neutral so it can cool off a bit.
Re: Overheating
Have issues with overheating and couldn't find out why... bought an after market radiator but also didn't have tyranny lines.. was told to purchase a trans cooler because the radiator is for a manual transmission... hope this solves my issue.. while I was at in decided to replaces all hoses ,however as ture sensors.. head , head gasket, geesh practically the whole car..... what u guys think??
Yea overheating and blowing hoses. Blew reservoir cap off.. I replaced head and head gasket

Re: Overheating
use the tests in the videos in the 1st post.

if you can't do the test, have a shop do it.
if it does not pass, the previous gasket/head were not good and need a redo
