Engine overheated, header gasket blown years ago, just updating
A few years ago my car overheated. The temp gauge went all the way up. Whoops. I took it to a shop who said the thermostat was broken and needed to be replaced. So we did that, and a day or so later it overheated again. I took it back, and he said darn, your head gasket is blown.
A week later it was fixed. It was alright since the switch.
This was an 02 EX. I think I replaced the thermostat many years ago, too.
This isn't a question, I'm just mentioning it because someone else might have the same issue. There were over 100k miles on the car when this happened.
