Misterious Cooling Problem.
Help Please!
2002 Civic non vtec.
My radiator hose get swollen at low speed and idle.
Radiator fans working.
If I drive at freeway speed overflow tank gets full and little bublees are visible car overheats at street.
If I turn on A/C fans, tempeture goes back to normal radiator hose gets soft and no more bublees.
When car cools off, antifrezze return to radiator from overfill thank. Please help.

Replace it with OEM Honda Hose
Sounds exactly like failed headgasket, compressed air test into cylinder needed to absolutely make sure.

The radiator level is supposed to stay completely full to the top at all times. It doesn't take much fluid loss at all to compromise cooling efficiency (overheat)
Replace swollen hoses
Make sure radiator fans actually operate when the coolant temperature is hot enough.
