Question Electrical issue, Parking/marker lights, come on with ignition 2002 [solved] EX coupe

Hi yall,

I have a 2002 EX coupe, which recently has been having an electrical issue:
The parking/marker lights (all four corners) have started coming on whenever the ignition is turned on, and go off with ignition (unless manually turned on). Buzzer only active if manually turned on. This may not be a huge issue, but I hate systems that do what they want without my authorization or request, especially lights. This is only in the last couple months they have been doing this. From my research US 7th gen civics don't have DRL, only Canadian models. I first noticed this shortly after swapping my stock radio head unit for a Kenwood DPX594BT, and thought maybe I miswired it, but I switched back to the stock head unit and problem is unchanged. Any tips or ideas of cause? Or method of corrections that doesn't leave me without marker/signal lights when needed?

A year ago I added LED DRL (with an off switch) as a part of headlight upgrades, which I wired separately so I don't think should affect it, I really don't need these lights turning themselves on, and it looks too busy with everything on IMHO. Which a facelift was half of why I did it, in addition to better night visibility. Signal and parking lights in the new headlights are unchanged/stock in configuration and connections. Change is the projector headlights, and the swish DRLs only.

Electrical modification I have done:
rear-view camera installed several years ago (piggybacked from cig lighter in center console): disabled no change
always-on double 12v socket several years ago also, passenger footwell, wired 100% straight from battery, with dedicated fuse. Did not disconnect
one years ago upgraded headlights (with added DRL, I wired with dedicated fuse and switch, go on/off with ignition), disabled no change
Kenwood DPX594BT radio head unit couple months ago, removed (no head unit): no change. Switched back to original/factory: no change

new headlights

DRL alone, right after install

current parking marker lights (always) on, DRL off

both on

Thumbs up re: Electrical issue, Parking/marker lights, come on with ignition 2002 [solved] EX coupe

Issue resolved.

It was my own clumsy fault. I accidentally jumped across a connection.
Which incidentally will turn your parking/running lights into DRLs if that is something anyone wants to do. It was the right-hand two pins in the circled connector plug of the diagram of under dash electrical panel. Which seems is covered by the 10A RC/Mirror fuse. Feel free to cross-check and do your own research if that is a feature you want. Clearly i am no master of automotive electrical systems.
