Rep Power: 0 Actually, I just bought it off yellowhead honda (edmonton) in mid-december before I moved back to Calgary. The past owner put a Fireball style muffler on it..but that's it. The honda dealership guy was telling me that blackbook is $13,500....that's nuts! I need to sell it to help pay off my student loans faster..

unless u got some big hookups, it's unlikely that anyone can negotiate more than $2000 off of that car...

hey dude, cars are generally cheaper in Alberta than it is in BC, they probably have one less tax too, plus clearance cars usually sell alot below the suggested selling price

the protectants arent worth much..heh...the paint protectant is basically paying them to wax your car, the undercoating is worth about $50, and the scotch guarding i did myself for $10(one can of scotch guard is more than enough)
my Si-G was $21500 before taxes but parents made me get an auto...i didn't get any protection crap but i made them throw in floor mats...
i guess you did get a good deal but not as good as you thought you did. the protection package isn't worth what they charge. i bet if you try to buy the car w/out the package, it'll be very difficult to get the deal done. dealers often hide costs in extra stuff like the protection package.
anyhow, you still got a good deal...
