Where did you get your AEM CAI in edmonton? I remember you had you installed on your 2k1 Si. How much did you pay for it and were you impressed with their service? I know you had some problems with them. I'm thinking of investing some time and money into my car.
Hey, I'm pretty sure he got it at EZmotorsports. But I don't know the address or anything so my post is useless. oh yea $370 installed as far as i know.
BTW. There's a groupbuy on right now, for Magnaflow Exhausts right now it's at 300US, shipped to anywhere in northamerica. It may even go down to 280. Just thought I'd let you know, since your looking for exhaust. Also, I've heard the magnaflow guy say that Thermal R&D uses magnaflow resonators and mufflers. Just thought i'd let you know. I may go in, but probably not.

(haha 110 over, i'm so going to get arrested one day), and i had it up to 170 on the whitemud and Anthony Henday today, burning some punk kids in a 6th gen hatch (Ironically, they're probably older than me). So anyway, i'm ready.

Dave, I think I am going to stick to the CAI first. I was quoted $425 for the CAI plus the bypass valve from Tunerworks in Calgary. I am not too sure about the group buy thing. Has anyonein Edmonton bought anything from them before? I know I want a Magnaflow exhaust and can get it here in edmonto for $625. Whats the site to the group buy? How much longer do I have?

I took a look at that group buy Dave. thanks for the info. I am still really undecided though. An exhaust adds little to no increase in power but adds sight and sound! Whereas a CAI adds sound and a lot more power! They both are about the same price(CAI is cheaper) but I could never get the exhaust that cheap. What do you think?
I don't really know.... I think an exhaust is a better deal. But I'd really go after both. when i get my Type-S, I'm gonna do I/H/E right away. but on the 2k1 i think i'll put a CAI on, before i sell it. either that or go back to the stock airbox. hmmmm.
yo yo yo! I can't remember the name of the place I got my AEM CAI from.. hehe.. It wasn't EZ though, it was some other hack shop.. I paid $450 for the CAI including install.. I was very happy with it.. Once spring rolls up, I'm buying coil overs/tires and a CAI for my SiR!
Well.. I bought a $114,000 Condo in August, so, I don't have much money to play with
, however, I'm at a loss as to what I wanna do with the SiR.. I kinda want to buy Sparco seats for it too.. hrm..

Well, within a week I'll be ordering something for sure! Still can't decide, magnaflow catback for $480 or CAI for $425(with bypass valve). Still, what would you guys do first?

I don't know yet, both would take the same amount of time to install. I have everything I need to install both of them. However, the groupbuy is a really cheap price and I probably won't find it that cheap for a while.

I can afford it but not both of them. Jeez, I think I'll just go with the CAI if it ends up costing me less money. I'll wait till all of this snow is done before I put an exhaust on my car.
