Please help with dash cam hardwire, 2021 Civic Sport!!

I’v been trying to hardwire a dash cam into my 2021 Civic Sport sedan for a couple weeks now!! I tested the dash cam using the 12 V plug that comes with it before starting to hardwire it, so I know the dash cam itself works just fine.

I am confident my fuse taps are connected well and receiving electricity and I am using the following fuses:

- “power windows AS” fuse (Number 15, 20 amps) for the accessory wire

- “door lock right” (Number 12, 10 amps) for the constant/battery wire.

I put 10 amp fuses in both accessory spots on my fuse taps.

Using the bolt that holds the fuse box in for the ground. I’m new to this but what I’ve got is pretty much identical to what I’ve read that others have done… please help!!

Also, doesn’t matter which way I put the fuses and fuse to abs into the slots? Like if I reverse the orientation of one or all of the fuses, would it make a difference?

You can PM me or reply here.

Have you actually verified that, with a meter?

No, it doesn't matter.
