Need Opinions on Tires--P7000 or Parada Spec2

Hey guys, i'm gonna order my tires this week. I need some opinions. I'm buying 215/35/18 tires. I've had the Parada Spec 1s last year and thought they were great. I just want to know if i should go with the Parada Spec 2 or Pirelli P7000 Supersport. Anyone have any comments on the Pirellis? I can get these 2 tires for about the same price. I don't know if the Pirellis will wear out quickly or not.

Spec 2.......fo sho.

I'm surprised you'd even ask about the p7000 after owning the spec 1's.

BTW: I prefer Falken 451 tires over the Yoko and Pirelli. They are less expensive, they have better treadlife, the tread pattern looks sick, and they grip the road like meat hooks in a side of beef.

I thought the Falken 451s were more. I don't know anyone who has owned the Falkens.

my mistake man. the falken 451 in 17" are actually slightly cheaper than the pirellis and the same price as the spec 2's. I have the falken 451's in 17".

however in 18" they are actually more than the yokos and the pirellis. weird.

if i were you i'd pay the extra $20 or so dollars per tire and get the Falkens....they are also made in Japan(unlike the Yokos which originate from japan but are made locally).

That is weird. How do you like them? I was just on 1010 tires, and their tread wear is less than the Paradas. THey are a 280, the Paradas are 300. I don't know how much more treadlife that is, but any extra treadwear is good. I still like the look of the Parada though. It looks amazing!! It's sidewalls are the cleanest looking ones i've ever seen. Not a lot of wording.

If you like the Spec 2's then get them. I agree they are an extemely good looking tire.

The 451's have been really good to me, they are silky smooth and super quiet. Cornering is a dream when using these tires. It's hard to explain in words you actually have to try them first hand to understand what I mean.

not really, just going with what i got for now. 17" chrome and magnaflow catback. don't really want anything else. i was going to get 19" chrome but i decided to save that money for a better newer car in a few years from now. can you say S 2 0 0 0.

i think parada spec 2 is good but i heard parada performs the best in wet condition than dry condition

ask Boohahahah about Pirelli P7000 cuz he has them on his SiR rims
ask Gusto for parada spec 2 cuz he has them on his 17s

but i like Toyo, Falken, Bridgestone S03 pole position

best bang for the buck - Kumho

My cousin has the Kumho 711s. They are o.k, cheap as hell in price but you get what you pay for. He's put 10000 k on them and they look like they won't get anothe 5000 k. Anyone know if there is any other difference between the Yokohoma Parada Spec 1s and Spec 2s other than the compound of the new ones having silica in them?

I had them a few years back. 205/40/17 A520s. I didn't like them too much. A lot of road noise, and wore out quickly. And absolutely no comparison to the Parada!!
