Speed traps in sauga
on 403 East after u passed Hurontario and under the bridge, there's a popo holding a radar shooting at the oncoming traffics and 5 of his buddy waiting to catch u 1 km away from the bridge. so watch out.
i seen them in the very same spot 3 times in a very same week

the usual max that i go over is 10, and once i see a cop, i just let go of the gas...
I think cops usually don't care if u go over like 10, or as long as u don't stand out of the crowd...
*crossing my finger* i need another 7 yrs without any ticket...

10 over the cops wont do anything.
If they do take it to court and the JP will drop it, just say something like you were passing.
you can do up to 15 over and no points and they probebly wont stop you, 16 over and you have a problem. I got a stupid ticket going 30 over but went to court to get it droped to 20 over.. useless.. insurance will still go up. Now when ever i speed I try to just keep it 10 over but its hard... really hard.

I went to Toronto this past Wednesday and never saw any cops on the 403 by sauga.
Or maybe there were and I just wasn't paying attention. I tend to have my head in the clouds when I'm on boring 2 hours trips to Toronto by myself

if the speeding ticket was issued by the OPP then it is harder to fight (3 of my friends couldnt really fight down the fine and point with OPP) but if it is a regional cops then most likely they will give u a break and knock some points off the ticket and reduce the fine. so watch out for OPP cuz they aint easy to fight.
and it's hard to say which day and time they will setup the trap on 403. sometimes i see it 4 times a week in the same spot, sometime i dont see them at all in a week but it is a fact that they always setup the trap there.
1 last point, when they see a car suddenly reduce the speed and the front end of the car (nose) dive down from heavy braking, they could still pull you over and say this and that and warn u...etc, reason why i said that because my friend was going 140 then he slammed the brake and i know his front end of the car dive down dramatically and the cops pull him but didnt give him a ticket because he passed the radar at 100 or 105 but the cop said something about i know u slammed the brake hard to get away from ticket...all that BS if u know what i am trying to say.

even that the cop KNOWS that you were going faster then the speed limit, if he cannot prove it then he has nothing but his 100/105 km/h reading.. so thats too bad for them.
