Go with the same shade all around. I've got 20 all around and it looks great. I've never been pulled over before in my civic, and my previous car which i had for 5 years, i had 20 and was never pulled over. You should be o.k.

When you say people with 20 all round are getting pulled over is it becasue it's illegal or are cops just suspicious?

I had 20% tint on my '99 Accord and it was fine ... and never got pulled over ... make sure its dark to contrast from the silver of the car ... I got a silver 2k2 si and I will get it tinted in spring with 20%. It should look phat.

There's no need for 20% tint.. what the hell?!

I can testify that 35% is PLENTY dark enough... especially at night parking in reverse, how dark do you really want? Hell, I have sex in my car all the time, but never been busted.. that should be enough proof.

35% is alright, but 20% is a hella lot better for blazin' it up...5% is the best but running into pedestrians while turning left and right might hurt your driving record...unless you're counting points...

I have my windows wrapped in 20%, and about the backing up parking situation, just roll the window down or open the door...I do...

01coupe .... we really didn't need to know that....
ok i'm new at all this tint stuff. i'm guessing 20% is darker than 35%
so are there different types of tint depending on the quality?
which type would be suitable?

Grumpy, trust me on this one. Get 20% Tint!!! You can't go wrong man. I used to own a Silver coupe with 35% tint...and I regretted it so much. I wanted 20% in the first place, but stupid Honda said I had to sign some liablility crap so I just got 35%. Every time I looked at it, I always complained it wasn't dark enough because it basically defeated the purpose of a tint for me. I wanted a Tint that where no one could see what stuff I got inside my car, but with 35% people can still see clearly what you got, day time or night time.

I also found a nice added safety feature of having a tint. If you get into an accident, it keeps the smashed glass together, thus preventing it from flying every where (i.e. your face )
