Anyone have to deal with Honda before?

I posted this in general ramblings but I want to get into more details with my fellow Torontonians =)

I went into HOnda to get hand brakes adjusted and my car comes back out with a dent!..
It's a brand new car sooooo I KNOW everything, i check everyday AND i definitely checked right in Honda's garage and it was PERFECT.

One of the girls there even checked because I had a problem with the bumper soooo we were closely looking at it.

Manager came out and said. ya i see a dent.. and then i said "YA!, it wasn't there when i brought it in"
he said "it's imposssible that they did it " THe girl wouldn't say a word that SHE KNOWS there wasn't a dent before. Well, they just gave the usuall, it wasn't their fault.

ANYONE know what's the next step? MONEY is definitely not the ISSUE here because if I didn't check and there was a dent I WOULD of just thought I got it somewhere. I just hate people BSing me.

Anyone know what is the next step? SINCE seriously, the guy's at honda could of took apart my car for fun and I wouldn't even be able to do sheit about it.

I don't know any lawyers!, got alot of engineers but NO LAWYER!..

I doubt you'd get anything. Maybe try the sales manager or store manager, as service managers are usually a$$holes.

If you make enough noise you might get something.

BTW, which dealer?

trust me...my dad wrote a letter to Honda Canada to complain about the defect on the car (ppl should know what defects i have on my car..rear bumper and the tail light) and we didnt get response from Honda Canada...soemtime next week when i am over with sumemr school, i will start bugging the dealer to fix it under Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty and if they dont fix it...will have to get into customer service...etc
i hate honda...after they took your money and they dont give a S H I T about the car afterward

That goes for most large companies out there these days, not restricted to cars.

So small companies like me, will provide top-notch computer services for the masses. (Sorry, had to advertise myself, hahahaha, and PW)

Seriously though, you may want to lookup the number to Honda Canada and get their customer relations department. As I said, if you make enough noise......... Especially when you suspect it was badly done at the dealer.

i was a retard when i picked up my car new from teh dealer and didnt walk around for little thing inspection and on the 3rd day after i got my car, me and my dad noticed the defects and they said it's not theor fault..but i know one thing is that the salesman who sold the car to us called my house and said Honda Canada blacklist their dealer but still Honda Canada didn't instruct them to fix our car for free...even tho they know it's their fault and defect on the parts

They are suppose to fix it because my friend's car had a dent right on it and they fixed it.

WELL, i'm going to call up the director in charge of that dealership tomorrow and have a chat with her.

First of all, the women (some kind of advisor) was suppose to look over the car and inform us of any dents and things like that. SHE DIDN'T..

Just a small dent, a couple of bucks and if they don't fix it.. it's basically complaint line.. lol

YA!. THIS is

RICHMONDHILL HONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAD my handbrakes adjusted and guess what.. I sat for an hour and THEN the lady tells the mechanic to work on my car and AFTER 5 minutes. it was done..

I had to wait even though I had an appointment.

AND NOW. my car is DENT......

dont' go there. TRUST ME........

here's the deal...who owns the car?..you do...if you have a service appointment, drive it into the bay yourself!!!...don't take no for an answer...tell them you'll go somewhere else for service...they want your money and will let you drive it in...2ndly and most importanly, don't leave the bay once you're in there...watch everything that's going on in there...they put up that sign about not being allowed in the bay and blah blah blah to scare you...don't take ahy BS and keep an eye on your car...they want your money and won't put up a hassle...

as for Honda Canada, if you call them and complain and keep on it, you will get your problems takin' care of...just don't wuss out and keep on them...they want and respect your business and will help you if you are persistent...

at cambridge honda (a new dealership) they havea huge bay window so you can watch them service your vehicle - its pretty cool actually - and they encourage you to tell them of any problems your having with the vehicle

i think the smaller dealerships are like that....they need your business so they'll provide good service...like NMH...etc...

but the big ones...Sisley Honda (which has a cafe in the showroom) i dont' think would give a rats a$$...they got millions of customers waiting in line

Small Shops aren't really dependable, SOME ARE but you gotta be lucky to find one.

My friend paid $1500.00 8 yeras back to have his car duct taped because the people didn't know what was wrong. It was horrrrible.

I'm really surprised how Richmond Hill HOnda is doing this BUT I guess that's why I saw them on
CITY TV silverman helps for jipping someone off. hahaaha
