stupid dealers
ive only had my car like 10 months and ive put on a lot of km's. like 28000 already. My cars auto so its crappy. last nite i screwed up my car and its not driveable for a few days. so i hve my friends saturn. i only took it cuz i cant function without a car. i need to drive to get to my 100 jobs a day and my morning job all i really do is drive. anyways. his car is standard and im not pro yet at stick but when forced to drive it you got to do it. surprisingly enough i didnt stall it, when going into 1st a few times i made it hop or whatever but it never stalled, some people laughed at me, (thank god for tinted windows) anyways i called my honda dealer today and i told him i wanted to trade my car in for stick, and he's like its gonna cost you more to get out of my vehicle and refinance another vehicle, so he said not to bother. if i want to do it shouldnt he really have no say. and why would i have to pay more money if im going to standard. cant they just like do a trade in i guess. Or can a a different dealer buy my car out somehow and than refinance through them. cuz i really dont want to go abck to henley where i got my car
well the salesman is kinda right. i think the salesman thought u want a 2002/2003 civic standard and your car is 2001 so your car doesnt worth as much as the new car from the dealer and you have to pay the differences. unless you have a friend who have a 01 civic as well and it's standard and he/she willing to do a straight trade for an auto then that way u dont have to pay any extra money. but if u go to the dealer and trade your car for the new civic, i would say the trade-in value for your car is around $17,000-$18,000 cuz the mileage. so i would just stick with your car and dont do anything for now cuz not worth to pay extra money to get a new standard. wait for your car to get a bit old then sell it and get the new standard car.

you want to trade in your current car for another car???
from what i've heard, trade in w/ a dealer isn't worth the time and money.
it's hard dealing w/ a car dealer...
