yea mine is being fixed right now... im just not bothering to lower it now. My kife dealer now says if i lower it then all warentys are voided... ALL... strange cuz when i asked before getting the car they said if u change a part the warenty on that part is voided because it didnt come with the car. And of couse all problems caused by that part. BUT if my engine scruz up and its lowered they wont fix it... so FAWK them... and the car too
Im changing tail lights next freetime i have and selling springs
Cool that ur from pickering... where u live around?

boo .. wouldn't you think that they'd take record of your car being lowered (previously) ?.. i've taken my car to the dealership about 2-3 times with my car lowered and i guarantee they know it's lowered .... although, i still want to run that scam ....

how would they record it? it will work because if u swap ur stock springs back in u can tell them no my car was never lowered they have no proof that it was anyway unless they take a picture of it and stuff like that i dont think they would waste their time like that cuz there is a lot of cars like ours dropped
hey kurupt did u take it to honda to install them?

Don't know about the Civic, but the manual for the EL specifically warns against any modifications to the car, and it puts an extra emphasis on the suspension and "changing the ride height" of the car. This is probably enough for Honda Canada to give you the big middle finger if you want warranty service on your suspension but you've altered it from the way it came from the factory...and IMO it's justified.

thats why if ur really ghetto like i am and i know most of u are.
ive take my springs out and then put them back in after the warranty hahaha
better than paying 1000 for new shocks hahaha
why pay when its technically free?

that's what I'm gonna do....
and if you're really ghetto and can't afford the high prices of the aftermarket springs, you can get your stock springs heated up, then can be set up so your car can ride lower. Better than cutting it. I know cause I'm so cheap I found this option. Not doing it cause I plan on using those stock springs for the same reason as Boo... hehehe
