You don't exactly need to speed to drive hard. By driving hard we mean fast acceleration from stops, reving the engine unnecessarily, etc etc Speeding doesn't help it, but not always the cause. Also, 400 kms city or highway or mixture ?

when you fill up the tank........ look at how many litres you're filling at... and look at how many km's you drove since your last fill-up
if you can get 10kms for every 1 litre... it's pretty good... if anything better... like what telly's getting, it's extremely good

factors to cause use of more gas:
heavy items in rear seat, trunk.
reving
stop and go traffic
tires
body kit
a/c.. heat
filters..
....... hmmm, cant think of any more at the moment

well no, and lip kit is heavy but that doesn't affect much. also you need to calculate with all highway miles. there are too many factors in the city that change. for example i get around 20mpg city and 40 highway on average.

So this lube control, you just add the correct amount into your oil over 1000 miles or 1600 km??

ya the lc20 in oil is 3.7oz (1oz per quart for first oil change), then then 1oz every 1000 miles til the next change.

the fp60 you put 1oz per 5 gallons of gas whenever you fillup or as often as you want.

other than that, just make sure plugs are good, air filter, tire pressure around 30psi, no heavy loads in the car, alignment, etc. pretty much anything can affect it. idle more than a minute starts to waste gas, acceleration wastes more than cruising.

When you guys say you get 500kms, are you driving manual? Cause I'm driving auto and I regularly get close to 500 in the winter and 500+ close to 600kms in the summer... I thought those with manual tranmissions would get even more..

Not using lube control or anything...
