If more than one is interested in purchasing Lubecontrol stuff - perhaps a group buy would be more worth it, as well the shipping charges to Canada were $$$ (Almost worthwhile for me to take the 3 hr return trip to Plattsburgh and declare it myself).

Wow, you guys get sucky gas mileage. I consistantly get 600-625km on 38-40L of fuel. Doesn't matter if it's highway or city, winter or summer. My girlfriends civic gets even better than that. I usually drive like a granny though. Also, downshifting does not use more gas.

heavy loads in the trunk are bad? how heavy is bad?

is 130 lbs of subs/box and amp really that bad? i think i read somewhere in the car manual about the max capacity being well over 800 lbs in a 7th gen civic sedan.

uh yea it is lol. think about how the handling is affected as you pack more and more people in your car. i can feel a difference even with one person.

i don't notice a loss in handling even with the heavy load in the trunk. i'm going to test out how much milege i can get on a full tank with the load. will post results in a few weeks. LOL!

i don't use my car too often so i can usually go two to three weeks, sometimes even a month, without filling up.

Hate to rub it in but I just got 635km on 38 L of gas. I'd recommend a general tune up:
- plugs
- air filter
- oil change
- tire pressure and condition
- if tire's are worn uneven check alignment (it helps)

Driving habits:
- no more idleing
- don't carry unnecessary weight
- don't rev over 3000rpm unless you have to
- try to never stop. I always roll to a red light so that it's green by the time I get there. Then I'll end up taking off in 2nd gear since I'm still in motion (this will save your clutch too)
- don't accelerate too fast
- don't speed on the highway
- keep your car in the highest gear posible without it being hesitant. If I know I'll be cruising at 75km for a while I'll be in 5th not 4th.

I went to Honda
They told me to change the pollen filters...
Pollen filters??? what ever, i'll see if that changes things....
During the winter, I would do 350km with 40L...
Never got over 600km.

lol pollen filters are for the a/c heating system and have nothing to do with performance. except better air filtration for you.

i think the most miles ive ever seen was 350 miles per tank, ive only actually recorded it once but i just filled up friday and i am recording it again, so we will see how many i get this time. 350 is pretty good for driving hard, its impossible for me to drive like a granny

50L including 10L reserve. The gas light is supposed to come on at 40L but is very inacurate.

don't think you can really go by 1/4 tank.... I definitely noticed the first half of my tank (by the gauge) goes a lot slower than the bottom half
