If you've got just the muffler I would suggest getting custom catback or axleback piping - the shop will be able to weld on the appropriate amount AND a flange. The Tuner Medallion series is specifically meant to be part of a custom setup, as it only comes as a single universal muffler - no piping.

Good shop - Hot Rod Scott's in Etobicoke. I would go only there or Noyz Boyz.

Oh one more thing - Tanabe is loud as a motherfvcker. Get a silencer for it if it didn't come with one, and if you're gonna go catback, for your sanity's sake get a resonator in there...otherwise expect to see a lot of red and blue in your rearview.

It's not very high-pitched - it's low and angry. VERY VERY angry. Loud. Just search the web for the Hot Rod Scott's site.

hey my 7thgen sedan use to have the tuner medallion setup with custom 2.5 pipping with resonator.. it was a nice deep mean sound... some dude in this forum from guelp bought my setup when i sold my car....
but yeah now i have a nissan 240sx with the full super racing medallion cat back... its ****ing loud and rusty mean sound... its a beast!!! not too sure if telly got a chance to listen to it..
w/ the tuner medallion on my 7thgen.. i got booked once but got the ticket dropped in court... w/ the super racing medallion on my 240sx.. i got pulled over once but cop was nice and let me go... only reason he pulled me over was cause i didn't want to run the yellow light and down shifted hard....

i have the tuner medallion and it sounds great but it's fuvking loud without the silencer. very nice tone for sure but the only problem is with the loudness. you will get sick of it eventually. even with the silencer it's quite loud to me. anyone know how loud the tanabe hyper is?

APRboy has the Tanabe muffler on his car with custom catback piping, magnaflow cat and a magnaflow resonator.... his car sounds sexy as hell. Deep rumble... there's no bumble bee sound.
