OT: ATTN: toronto to hamilton to niagara region

im just wondering if anybody drives west on the QEW in the morning towards Niagara.

im trying to not catch traffic jams in the morning when i drive to Niagara.

i know there's traffic jam even around six am going east on the QEW towards toronto........ like sauga and certain areas around Oakville or Burlington... forgot which one.

so im wondering whens the best time to drive to Niagara around the morning time.

i konw there's rush hour jam by the Ford plant in the afternoon rush hour, but
not sure abuot hte morning.

so:
what's the best time to drive through Oakville in the morning

i think that's the only spot i should be worried about in the morning............

Thanks

things shouldn't be bad in the AM..
if there are any slowdowns it'll be around Trafalgar thru to Dorval and then maybe where the 403 splits off near Brant

I can't fill you in on the pre-burlington skyway part but after the skyway it should be clear sailing all the way to the border. There is rarely traffic jams on that stretch.

The only traffic jams we get down here are from accidents. I've yet to experience a volume traffic jam in my daily trips from Stoney Creek area to Niagara Falls.

Take the 407, and avoid all the mess on QEW. It goes all the way to Burlington (just before the Skyway bridge).

Hamilton = Stinktown. My gf works in the east end now, I hate pickin her up from work. But on the bright side she may soon be movin to the GOOD part of the 905 (Oakville and all points east). Sorry dude, my car's suspension and I hate your city with its horrible roads, huge raised manhole covers (right next to EHR) and riced-out cavys at every freakin corner. I think the only reason the cops don't hassle me in Stinktown is cause they're busy chasing Z24 drivers.

Ah I see. I live just south of the 407 and find it a great way to get from Scarborough out to Niagara/Buffalo. I can get from Warden/407 to the Burlington Skyway in about 45 minutes, with no traffic at all. I find once you cross the Skyway the traffic on QEW (Niagara-bound) is usually pretty good (at or above the limit). IMO, its worth the toll charges.
