My car looks naked!
Well after over a year and a half with my company name plastered on the side of my car I decided to peel everything off and just keep it clean for a while. I dont like to keep the same design on for too long just to make sure I dont get any major paint fade, plus with the car is going back to stock style for Winter mode soon and it looks kinda gay with such extreme graphics, hehe.
Its taking me some time to get used to it but I love the clean look, maybe in the spring I will try something like flat black with some chrome highlites.
Here are some pics:

i just took my kit off for winter and the car looks totally different
you just get used to it being a certain way then it changes completely

Jer was it easy to get the skirts off (2 sided tape and everything) I was thinking about taking off mine as well but was worried that it might be a hassle.

It was pretty easy to get them off. But it was time consumming getting the tape off. Overall, I'd say 2.5 hours. I used lots of goo-gone and a little plastic scraper thingy. But I think I will be happy that I invested the time when I put them back on in the spring and the paint is still new.

How DO you remove graphics from a car anyway??? I mean, hack at the thing from the edges using finger nails?!
Last time I tried taking tree sap off with my finger nails, I ended up with MAJOR scratches on my car all over

to take off the graphics you can use a little plastic blade. its like a flat razor blade but made from plastic. This is great for getting the corners up and then with a little heat you can peel the piece off in one nice big chunk because the heat will soften the vinyl and prevent it from breaking in little pieces. If you end up with lots of glue I use a solution called Rapid Remover that you spray on and let it eat at the glue and then you wipe it off. You may have to spray it a couple of times but it comes out great in the end. I still have a little bit of fading but after it gets detailed it will be as good as new.
