This is the year I plan on participate in Solo II/autocrss racing and maybe even Solo I. But from what I understand, in order to get a race licence and/or to participate in these events, I need to be a member of CASC-OR affiliated car club.

What car clubs are you with? Or what clubs do you recomend?

for solo2, u dont need to be in any car club, im joining the full season of the push it to the limit event www.wiredmotorsports.com/pitl and most probably the official CASC-OR series, u dont need a race lincense, everyone can go, i started last July, didnt join the whole series, VERY VERY fun, good, if u go i dont have to be the only one with 7thgen civic there!!! also check out www.soloontario.com

i tried one event with macrossranma and i did ****...oh well it was a good experience and learned a lot from it

but this year i dont know if i will run my GTI or not

i dod solo II in the summer, it was organized by the ottawa motorsport club, MCO. but u didnt have to be a member to participate, its just chepaer if u are.

Solo II is fun, and we all do ****, it all part of the learning

Ok, ive looked into it a little more....you only need a race licence for competitive solo I racing....for solo II all you need is to show up.

Having said that, I will most certainly be attending all 6 push it to the limit solo II events at the Mississauga Hershey Centre.

I checked out the London Auto CLub site and I am very impressed....my very soon to be Ex-girlfriend lives in London, and to be honest I think I wanna avoid that area....be a little too hard.
