The only thing good about winter is no bugs!!! When I got out for a long cruise alls you can see is bugs all over the front of my car and I have to blast it all off. Small price to pay actually to see hot girls on the beach, short skirts , beer outside on a lawn chair while putting your feet in the kiddie pool. I can't wait!!!

Hey this got me thinking anybody wanna go for a meet in Grand Bend? I'll start a new thread summer only 5 months to go (well for me)

I guess winters the time where a lot of people can save more money for their cars since it's so damn cold outside.

Winter was cool.. now it sucks.. yesterday I was stuck on the Gardnier Expressway which was going 1 km/h so I had it pretty much in idle rpm in gear 1 all the way home... and I get home.. my battery's dead cuz of all the drain from the heating, defrost (rear) and side view mirror defrost... blah blah blah.. Took me 2.5 hours to drive 23 km from downtown to my house.

Bull ****. I bought a Battery CHarger from CT for the next time this happens!

And I was snow plowing the entire city. I was snow plowing Gardnier expressway.. I was snow plowing my area, my friend's driveway, Islington.. EVEN DUNDAS ST!

All I heard when I was driving was SCRAPE SCRAPE SCRAPE nonstop.

I had 4 people in my car coming back from downtown (cuz I car pool unlike 99% of those other ****ers out on the road that drive by themselves and cause there to be 80 times more cars than there needs to be on the roads)... (and one of them was my buddy's sister.. yum yum!.. nobody heard me say that).

Ok.. Done rant.

I think my winter tires are wearing out from all that sliding I do in parking lots and burnouts I do on snow and ice. They look like the treads a bit thinner. Next time.. I'm going with longer lasting winter tires.

^^ haha, kent thats why i dont drive downtown dude!

but then again its better than having go-train cancelled and riding ttc w/ the other million ppl trying to leave the city at the same time.

btw what tires are u using now? im running blizzaks, absolutely amazing. i had nokians on my old car, those were pretty cool too...

I ride on Michelin Arctic Alpins. They're great but I think all the beating I've given to them.. they're wearing down slowly. I drive them like they're my Parada's!

The Paradas are fine in wet weather. When you go over a HUGE puddle, the Parada's are fine except I notice a pull to the right side usually when I go over huge puddles (even if the puddles span all 4 tires).

Maybe it's just my alignment or camber or something.. I dunno.
In dry weather.. they're the bombest!

hmmm... maybe it was ur tread setup. cuz there isnt a directional tread design. i know different ppl who mount it differently to their tastes. maybe that could be a reason? it doesnt really sound safe lol!

the only good thing i have to say about winter is................NOT A DAMN THING!

freeze my *** off, shovel the snow in my driveway, freeze my *** off, waste time and money to take my car to the pressure wash at least twice a week to get the salt off, have to take certain parts off my car to protect them from the elements, did i say FREEZE MY ASSOFF? winter can kiss my ***.

Erm... If you guys dislike winter so much, why do you live here?
Wouldn't it be more convenient to move down south?

^^^ not everyone can just up and leave. Finding a job there is not easy... not to mention you'd need a green card to work. But anyways, good thing about winter is that winter is almost over.

I like the fact that other dropped cars assist the city of mississauga in snow plowing.
But I dislike the fact that there are times where even I contribute.

^^ Yeah I hear ya!!

You don't necessarily have to move "down south" you just need to move to BC This way ... no green card

Edit: I like winter because of snowboarding, HOCKEY, and to keep warm you can have LOTS OF SEX

I also like big snow falls, because that just means it's not super cold outside, and it's fun to drive in.
