"Ontario Honda Dealers" Track day!!
oh ya, hell i'll do both. Are you the only london guy that does drag Macfay, cause it would be sweet if we could get a bunch of our 7thgens in on the action...have a sort of king of Strip for the london based 7thgen members...bragging rights to the winner. It's always funner to be going against cars closer to my own rather than ones WAY out of my league. And i suspect this being a fairly big event at a good track like the bend there will be a strong turnout of 14, 13 and 12 second and under civics, ludes, and more than a couple rsx

16.5 is what i ran the first time with my header. I know i can run a low 16, but it's too much work to take off the rims, wing, and my stereo. I'll stick to show. I can't change pullies because of my stereo, so i'm just gonna go for show.

Me too. WIth a good reaction time, i will probably run 16.2, maybe 16.1 if it's perfect. I just have too much weight in my car. I added another 30 lbs of sound deadener in my trunk for my stereo.

Hey Big, you call that guy again today about my money? If i don't get a hold of this guy by the end of the week, i'm gonna get my lawyer involved. It doesn't cost me a penny for the lawyer, Ford covers it so i might as well use it. I just don't want to get so many people involved.

I didnt see yours though....were you in during the day while it was getting the install done. Thats a good time Macfay for any 7thgen especially yours being a sedan!!
I wouldnt mine going head to head with you a few times, I only have an axle back and a CAI, and i'm running on 17's so i dont expect any great times. But theres only one way to find out.

nah...even that 16.4 will take a stocker.
besides...i'm sure whatever it was will be fixed in no time. By the way...how was your driving on that night; reaction times & shift points

7000 rpm.....not that i know anything but i've always thought that was too high...i usually shift at about 6500....power drops off at 5800 on our cars but not significantly until 6500. That reaction time is solid for sure though.....do you get any spin launching at 4000, i've always done it at about 3000 or 3500.

I tried a few times to shift at 6000 to 6500rpm...but the results were slower than shifting at 7000rpm...different mod may change the engine torque and HP to a different level...
lanuching...I'm still try to find a good rpm to launch...seems like 3500rpm is good...
4000rpm would spin all the way to 6000rpm after release of clutch...anyway...need to practice a bit more...

thats true about your engine mods they may have bumped the power curve up a few hundred rpm, so it's just a matter of you figuring out what works best.....the launching is the same and it really depends on what rubbers you got. Stockers would probably need a lower launch RPM cause they're thin and not very sticky. Decent aftermarket rubbers would probably be beter at upper 3000 rpm (3500-3900). My wheels are 215 thick so thats a good deal more traction than the 185 stockers. But then again my wheels also weigh a good amount more than stockers so that hurts my E/T. I'm considering bringing my stocks to Grand Bend and given them a try for a run or two.....just to see the difference

O.K, gates open at 10 am. If we all want to cruise up together, we should meet up. So, how about 9 am. at the blockbuster in Masonville where LAC has their meets on Saturdays, on the corner of Richmond and Fanshawe? As that good for everyone? I figure that's on the way to Grand Bend anyways so it's the logical spot i think. Post if you are gonna meet up.
