I didn't mean to scare anyone away; I started a new thread so all the info about the meet could be summarized into the first post so no one is left saying "i dont want to scroll through everythng whats up".
I will get the site updated either tonight or monday, once Issac sends me the updated list of attendees. Then I will have the checkpoints section up and running so you can begin planning caravans and meet up spots. (and make sure I'm aware so I can post them on the website!)

well, for the most part, like we did last year. i will get most of the stuff together. if someone wants to bring something, thats fine too, just let me know so i dont buy it. and if you say youre bringing something, you better bring it. if you do bring something, your "cover charge" will be adjusted to compensate.

well, like last year, a small "cover charge" will be taken to cover the cost of the pavilion, food, and anything else we need.
everyone will pay a percentage of the pavilion rental, but if you bring an item, you may be entitled to a discount or be omitted from paying the food portion.

Yea we're meeting up at the starbucks garage. Would it be better to roll up 95, or up 270 for us Rockville peeps?
I think if the meet is at 2, we should meet at rockville around 10:30 to make time for getting lost and other hangups.
Then us Rockville people can roll out and meet at the MD welcome center rest area at 11:30, then all of us MDers can leave the welcome center around 12.
Let's get some Rockville area 7thgen cellphone numbers on here!
Mex I guess I am unofficially in charge of getting Rockville on its feet?

Hey guys, don't forget about me! I'm coming from the farthest this year I think, and I'm going to need a head start on you guys. I'm thinking I'm going to have to leave about 630AM to catch the DC crew.
Someone tell me where we'll be meeting in/around DC. Someplace that I may know, since I don't get up there too much. I'm kinda familiar with the the Fort Belvoir area.
Also, I'll have to let you guys know if I can make or not. It's still a toss up because of work.
We're supposed to be implementing some new software, and the rumor right now is the same weekend of the Mid-A meet. So, I'll keep you guys informed of what's up with that.

that's why we have this thread.. so you guys can be better organized! Please ask any questions you have now, since we're only 2 weeks away.
I will get a checkpoint setup for you rockville people. the shortest way to go from there is to meet us with us at the MD welcome center off I-95.
Marcus: for you, I think the first checkpoint will be the Maryland welcome center. coming from Accokeek, you'll probably have to leave around 10:20am to be there before noon.
Taz: Best place to meet up with us would be the Alexandria checkpoint, and from VA beach it's just over a 3hr drive to get there, so I'd say leave around 7~7:20am. It's just a little ways after you get on the capital beltway (I-95/495-east)

Any of you guys want to chill in Philly later on at night after the meet? Chill at a bar or club or get something to eat...whatever...doesnt seem like there would be much to do in Lebanon at night...

Ok..coo. I remember that spot.
Me and some other locals met @ Bowie Town Center to ride to the Welcome Center last time but two of those members traded in their civ's and really haven't seen any other postings.
