Rep Power: 0 Ok well that's not as bad as 25% I wish my parents could drive a manual, oh well, I'll buy it off of them one day, and I'll put in a 5-speed, or maybe even an RSX 6-speed, who knows if that would even work.

Rep Power: 325 a shift kit for the civic is not out and will probably never be out.. however JMO makes a new torque converter which raises the the stall point 300rpm and allows more powe transfer.. however it costs about 1000 dollars

Rep Power: 0 Hondas are exteremely efficient so losses generally run lower than other manufacturers, typically around 15% for a manual honda. I haven't seen any runs for auto hondas but normally losses to the wheels are:
Manual = 18-20%
Auto = 22-24%
For instance a 240-hp GTP usually puts down 185-190 hp at the wheels and it has a pretty efficient driveline. There are some real dogs out there....

Rep Power: 314 Right Right, thanks Majarvis.... I just remembered about downshifting. If I were crusing 60 on 6th, and got tugged into a race, I would have to go through 5th and 4th to get to 3rd.....
