Interior colors

I am getting a 2k3 Civic EX sometime in the next month or so. I am wanting it in Eternal Blue Pearl, but I noticed you can only get the tan interior with that color. With a tan interior, are the dash and console tan, as well, or are they still black? I want the blue civic, but I don't want a tan dash because I want the brushed aluminum trim, and it wouldn't like right. Thanks!

According to my 03 book, you can choose between,Ivory or Black int. check the members ride section, there are some members with EBP with the black interior, just because its not on the lot doesnt mean they cant get it.

I know how you feel. I have an 03 Civic EBP with a tan interior. I wanted the dark gray interior, but they didn't have it . Well, they (the Honda dealership) said they didn't have that interior color for the 03 EBP, only tan.

03_silver_ex - I thought the 03 EBPs only came with a tan interior? I dunno. I know they had the dark gray interior option for the 01 and 02 7th Gens.

I looked at Honda's site and checked the 'Build Your Own Honda' section. At the page where it says to choose you exterior/interior color, the EBP only gave the tan option.

I got used to my tan interior after a while. I got A LOT of compliments from girls saying that they like how the tan interior looks with the EBP . I dunno, they said it looks clean n stuff. And they said it matches. I'm telling the truth!

Oh, and about the dash and center console. take a look at My Ride. There's a pic of my interior.

Same here i have an 02 ebp ex and the interior is tan. I also asked the dealer and they told me that ebp civics don't have a choice of interior colors. The center console is black, the gauge cluster and the thing where you have your headunit and a/c controls. I got used to it and like AzureSkye said "I got A LOT of compliments from girls saying that they like how the tan interior looks with the EBP . I dunno, they said it looks clean n stuff. My sister has a white coupe with tan interior. I have a silver coupe with a black interior. My sister always comments on how she likes my interior more than hers. I tend to agree. I like the black interior on practically all of the exterior colors. The only thing that sucks about the black interior is that you can see the dust and dirt easier.

Ahhhh... but dust and dirt come off.... spilling something or getting mud in tan carpet doesn't come out.... and you can see it.

yeah.. the dark interior get noticably dirty, but looks way better... i don't think the blue interior comes in the grey/black interior cause that's the colour i wanted in the first place.. but you should check with the honda website just to verify for this year's model...

I bought my Nighthawk Black Pearl because of the black interior. I originally wanted the Eternal Blue Pearl, because it looks pretty sweet to me. Oh well, still happy with black.

This is the first car I've owned with tan interior -- I like the less noticeable amounts of dust. The gauge bezel area and steering column still show the dust though.

As for the mats, I got some tan rubber mats that go over the stock ones for winters...

I bought my car used, so I didnt get a lot of choice in color, etc...

I guess I'm the only one who really likes the tan interior. I don't like black at all, except on sports cars, leather shoes, and suits.

Well, as you all know the '03's are different than previous years.
SSM = Black int
NBP = Black int
RR = Black int
TW = Ivory int
SMM = Ivory int
EBP = Ivory int

Depending on the dealership, thats exactly what it means.. If it's not on the lot, it's not available there, in other words, con't your search or settle for another color.

I know at my dealership, if it's not there you can't have it.. It costs waay too much $ to special order an entire car, now adding things to it here and there is different.

Exactly, they all come from the manufacturer like that. Its either this or this, and thats it. If you have say an '03 Accord Sedan..each trim level is different but the same - meaning all LX's are the same, all EX's are the same and so on..It either has p/w and/or p/l or move up to the next trim level.
