Exactly what I was thinking! But if you look at the picture very very carefully, it does look like the civic is a seperate layer ontop of the background. There are no shadows!

Anywho, in the pic I see some guy beside the tree!?!?! And I'm wondering HOW this car flew into the tree to be chopped in half, with the front of the car totally in tact. Ie. the hood and stuff has no damage. One has to wonder how is it that the tree can chop the vic in half. Sorry to dissapoint you Shambler, but its not a fake. It happened two days ago on Long Island....In NY. I was reading it in yesterdays paper and remembered this post. There was a young couple and kids driving in there suburban and the couple went to turn into their driveway.....The driver in the civic got impatient, and tried to get around the truck on the side it was pulling into the driveway....I guess the guy in the civic didnt realize thats what they were doing. Well the civic clipped the truck, lost control and went off the road...The police said he hit the tree so hard that the car split in half. They are not sure how fast the guy was traveling. The people were stuck in the car...the part with the rear section still intact....and the Driver who was under 20 was prounced dead at the scene....the passenger survived.

EDIT: Didnt see the story posted, before I posted this...

thats pretty sad, hit an SUV then go sideways into a tree splitting you in two. The firedepartments sure did react fast having them out in 15 min around here it would have taken hours
hope the passenger pulls through
