You judge your racing skills based on your 115 HP LX Civic...

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
16.6 is pretty good for a civic lx I guess.

I mean its still not a fast time or anything, but there's plenty of guys here with EX that can't hit that.. and then we got those autos with 17, 18 secs.

*shrug*

I never ran at the track before... I know I can do 0-60 8 something second.. but thats not too accurate.

I'll be happy if I can hit low 16 with this pos.

WTF are you talking about? 16.6 isn't anything to be bragging about. I've seen people with 7th gen civics run high 15s stock. I believe there is a timeslip on this board somewhere as proof. As far as aftermarket support goes, the good stuff just isn't here yet unless you got alot of $$$ and can go custom. You have to be patient. New mods are on their way - pistons, rods, camshafts, lightened flywheels, turbos will probably become more readily available, and so on. You just have to give the aftermarket companies time to put in the R&D. It's also based on demand, so the more 7th gen civic owners that exist, the more demand for aftermarket parts, which yields more aftermarket support.

not to be hating on anyone on here, i was just boasting that ive improved my times seven tenths of a second, nothing big, but its an improvement for me, as for you senior members who probably hate your ride, i like mine, i feel its a good car, its got great performance, regardless of the fact that its rates hp so poorly, it feels as if it has improved for my likings, not the best, and its still non vtec, until i see in person a civic vtec run high fifteens, i wont ever believe it, not possible as heavy as the car is, and the 127 stock hp, please, thanks for your feedbacks, but im just gonna improve while you all sit here and complain about me posting, i feel i take it seriously, have fun typing while im at the track running better times
