For you racers out there..
This is to pay tribute to the Police officer that was killed yesterday Morning here in Vancouver, due to 2 street racers in a 03 Honda Civic SiR and another "unknown Prelude" going 120 when the Civic broadsided the Police Cruiser. What's worse is that the kid jumped into the 2nd car and they sped off together fleeing the scene.
Take it to the track and don't be stupid.

Way to feed the sterotype that:
1. All racers race on the street and not the track (look at your title)
2. That all "street" racers drive recklessly, ALL THE TIME
3. That all "street" racers race everywhere, all the time and dont care about anyone or anything except winning and there type r badges.
There are some street racers that are smart about it and dont race on roads with other cars on it.. Im not defending the guy in the 03 Sir what he did was very dumb, just dont feed the fire... Most of the people that pull this bs are kids that dont know what the hell there doing.

2. Street racing IS driving recklessly cuz you shouldn't be in the first place. That's why there are laws. If you're street racing all the time then you're driving recklessly ALL the time.
3. If you're "street" racing, it means you're racing on PUBLIC streets and that means that they don't care, cuz if they DID care, they wouldn't and would take it to the track.
4. Don't be a smart@ss.
Repost.
Its tragic yes, but I agree you're filling a stereotype. Seriously, 95% of people have attended/or has been involved in a Street Race that tunes, yet when something tragic happens whats said is "Oh dont be stupid".
Post in the original thread plz.
