INSURANCE SUCKS!!!

ok, I just got a brand new 2k2 Civic LX and i co-signed with my grandmother because my parents are about to refinance their house and buy and acura and the refinancing people told them not to get any loans because it might mess up the refinance.. so since the car is in my grandmother's name and not my parents they're trying to charge me $6000 a year!!! that's $500 a month!! My buddy has a prelude and he pays less than that! WTF..

If you can't work things out with that horrible price, I say bring in your local news channel and have them investigate why they are charging you so much so everybody can see how they like to screw people.

Who is you people's insurance with? are you on your own plan? have you ever been in an accident? I had a minor fender bender 2 years ago but I seriouly doubt that warrants a rate this high..

Wow I thought I hated my insurance ocmpany, hehehe unless you have a buttload of accidents tickets, no deductable, high coverage I would switch. I pay 200 a month under my name for full coverage with a 500 dollar deductable.

I have basic coverage and only pay 79.00 a month - and that's with a speeding ticket...I'd look into this - that's a pretty harsh amount to swallow...

Wow Thats highway robbery. I pay 218 a month and I'm only 17 and I have an EX. But I guess its cause y dad just listed me as a driver and said it was his commuter car. You're better off not having insurance and just driving like my Grandma.

Age is a major factor...how long have you had your license? I'm 23, so that would explain my lower premium...but even if, I don't think you should be paying that much....

Dude. What's your deal? Tickets? Accidents? What?
Your paying way too much there. Too many veriables to try and discuss now. Age, driving record, territory, maybe your grandparents have bad driving records or claims history.
Check into another insurance company ... soon.

I pay $200 a month with 4 tickets and 4 accidents! And I'm 20! Go look at PROGRESSIVE.COM for some quotes. They're trying to screw you over .
