What's up!
Hey everyone!
Haven't really been on much since I sold my Honda in August after it got totaled in a hit and run. Figured I'd pop in and say what's up, and show off what I've been driving since
2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T. 242hp/268 ft lbs on 93 octane (that was with the water meth though, not sure what it's making without it). Just got it tinted today. 84,000 miles (bought it with 73k back in August). Paid $6700 for it.

Tuned by APR with bolts ons and a JHM short shifter, stock turbo, lowered on koni yellows and ABT springs, SRS rear sway bar, BBS wheels off the W8 custom powder coated by Connecticut Wheel Repair. Leather, Wood Grain, Monsoon system, navigation, all the bells and whistles that come with owning a German vehicle
I had a water meth kit but it was a pain in the *** to commute with since I had to keep refilling it so often so I took it out.
I also had a mechanical boost gauge but it was boring so I replaced it with a prosport (electrical) boost gauge... still in the mail.
Eventually when the clutch starts to go I'll replace it with an S4 clutch and lightweight flywheel. Seems to be holding up fine though.
Anyway. Car's pretty quick. I still kinda miss my Honda though. I think an S2000 is in my somewhat near future. Still trying to sell some of the Honda parts I got lying around. I'll put up another for sale thread soon.
So how have yall been?

Re: What's up!
AutoX'd the car on Sunday, and I did surprisingly well. The car has a LOT of bottom end torque since the turbo takes no time flat to spool, so it's suited really well for autocross.

Re: What's up!
if there are hairpin style or pivot cones, and one tries 2n gear, sure... sometimes we wonder if forcing a 1st it will get in...
depend on curse design, a lot...
