POLL: Which Type R would you want to hit the states?

Civic Type R?

-or-

RSX Type R?

The Civic Type R is probably in a higher demand than the new Integra. But I'd rather have a Type R coupe and the RSX wins as a coupe/hatchback. But it would be interesting for Honda to bring a Type R into their line instead of through Acura. But who knows, we're getting a more powerful Accord (as it seems) with the top of the line version in a manual tranny. The Civic Si is adequate I guess, and the s2000 reigns as the top perfomance car in the American Honda line.

Truth still stands that Honda needs another Type R... (Don't bother mentioning the new NSX Type R... it's not even out in Japan yet.)

My vote goes to the RSX Type R. I know a lot of people prefer the Civic Type R on this site but the Civic already has a "high performance" model which is the Si while the RSX doesn't.

Choose one only.

JDM CTR

Also, I have to disagree with you on one point.

<< the Civic already has a "high performance" model which is the Si while the RSX doesn't. >>

I guess the RSX-S is just a slow POS.

The (integra type R in Japan) or RSx type R, would be tight, with its 8500 redline and 220horsies would be my choice.

RSX-R, and they need to call it the Integra Type-R, just like they still do in the rest of the world.

Actually the JDM CTR has 215hp(only five less than the ITR) I'd buy either version tho.

Seeing as how Type-R cars have always been lighter and more potent, I would love to get my greedy little hands on a Civic Type-R...
It's already light at about 2600lbs, so a weight loss and a hot R-engine would make it that much better

Wow... rsx type-r, ummmm.... noooooooooooo Ok 200hp type-s, or 220 type-r, I've seen enough of this integra replacement as it is, I want our honda civics to be reconized as a fast car, and besides, I would like to do an engine swap with something, besides the impossible K20... well maybe not impossible but still stupid (7000grand???) So I say lets have a car that looks diffrent with a typeR logo...
I vote civic R lets keep it alive...

I believe it would be easier to bring back the Integra Type R...

The Civic might loose it's reputation for being "reliable" if too many fast Civics were out. However, the Civic IS Honda's signature car... and for that, I think it could also deserve to be a lil' more versatile. I also think the Type R Civic might loose the Si's reputation in the states/Canada. Of course, if the Type R replaced the Civic, that wouldn't be a bad thing... however... from the first Type R we had... that kind of car isn't exactly something you would call "comfortable" overall. For Honda's reputation... I say leave it to Acura since they are seen as the "higher breed" of Hondas. This is also why I think the Integ will return.
