Scion Fr-S

normally i am all about the honda. but I seriously want a Fr-S. I am waiting for specs to come out, but that car is just sexy. I want it in black. Red is too obvious. Or silver. Or gunmetal.
anyone else seen this car? its ridiculously sexy

Re: Scion Fr-S

Honda has dropped the ball, they aren't about performance any more, so if I wanted to buy a new car the fr-s would be high on my list.

Re: Scion Fr-S

It's a nice car.Originally it would be released under Toyota as the FT-86.86 as in AE86.Releasing under Scion is a better move for marketing as Scion appeals to the younger crowd.

Subaru is going to have there version of the Fr-s. The scion is sweat but I gotta see the suby first. I read that the scion is going to have a flate 2.0 leter turbo, maybe the subaru will be a bigger motor.

^ Subaru will use the same engine, but with 4WD.There will be a STI version. Not sure what the difference will be.But it costs about $10,000 more.

Re: Scion Fr-S

if its the same engine than its just a bigger turbo. Right know iam at 200 hp stock with a k03, but put a k04 and some supporting component and ill sit at about 350hp. Although if its awd and a bit heavier than the scion will take it because of the 25-35% hp losed on the awd. Not sure its that is clear but we will have to see.

Re: Scion Fr-S

The FR-S 2.0L engine isn't turbo charged in the first place.So Subaru put in a turbo.The article say's it's N/A.
