Installed Weather Tech window vent covers. Easy install and looks amassing.
Then a new shifter boot. 2016 has been a good car project year!

Dude, that plastic coat if it is on the car for years, forget peeling it off.
I restored a 92 hatch that was sprayed with that , and I had to chem strip it....
Not wanting to sound negative, just sayn.

The 3m wrap is a killer sub to painting a car and it will come off after years of being on the car. For the after market its the next greatest thing and it really is.

My plan is to keep my color...
I do appreciate the info of how hard it is to peel off.
BTW the garage is prepped for painting tonight...

Made a lip and a front wing sat morning/afternoon.
destroyed the lip sat evening...but saved the wing!
Next time i will use a plastic that's not so brittle, and use stabilizers...

sheeesh, streak of bad luck...
just because i have a 3 month travel schedule, a lot happened...
1) SRS light came up - just checked today (got a scanner that reads SRS codes - why not? Seat belt buckle.... the traditional. I might just bundle with airbag and do it in dealer when travel is done...
2) it's emission time... darned oil burning is causing P0420 problems... and I need reset every once in a while... forgot i had reset in the morning and went to do emission... bam! fail for not ready...
3) somebody hit my rear bumper when it was parked, but I don't even know where they hit (too much rain here down south...). Just hit the scrapyard and got a "new" one out of a LX - should i just keep the LX badge?
darned yard was ginormous... and they take you to find the car, and they pull it out on the spot - took 40 minutes to find the darned car in the outer side of the yard, some 300 - 400 yards down to the end...

haha, just for the fun of having an LX in an EX
hope yours get better... saw too many at the scrap yard today.... but a T-bone means write-off most of the cases...

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Last week I bought 4 brand new tires. This week, after a trip to a local bone yard, I replaced my rear view mirror, sun visors, and I just installed my "new" cluster panel. Now I has a tach- YAY!
