i was on my way home from visiting my girlfriend tonight and while i was on us-202 north near the us-30 exit, i saw 4 cops with their lights on with one car pulled over that appeared to be smoking. around here its not all that common to see 2 cops with one car pulled over, but thats the first time i ever saw 4

hahah i swear up here in my area everytime i get pulled over there are like 4 cars all the time every damn direction even if it's not for a ticket
guess they think i got something to hide and think i'm gonna boggie off somewhere......clowns

the first time i happend it scared the hell out of me but now i'm so used to have 4 lights beaming into my damn face........sucks that on this car i dont have tints

Yep I have seen quite a few stops around here with atleast 2 cars up to like 4 because there are too many cops giving people tickets on the roads then preventing crime in this town. Crime is out of control and they are writing tickets for 2 over the speed limit its pathetic but oh well moving out of here in a few weeks.

A ticket for 2mph? That's absolutely absurd! I couldn't imagine a judge in the world who wouldn't through that out. He would almost 100% positively through it out and be very irratated at the officer who wrote the ticket. Who can actually maintain a set speed without any variation once so ever?? Most departments/officers generally allow at leat at 4 or 5 mph buffer. Is that just "rumor" or have you or someone you know actually received a ticket for that?

We're not allowed to ticket unless the person is at least 10 over. It's department policy. As for 4 cars during a traffic stop, it could have been a high risk stop (IE-outstanding warrant, was hesitant to pull over, etc.) not necessarily a pursuit.

I wont even pull you over unless you are going 10 over so the whole 2mph thing is little riduculous if you ask me and as for more than one unit at the site... can you blame them for being safe... its a pretty rational decision to have more than one person on a stop just in case... when you get killed is when you think the person isn't going to do anything

Yep a person I know here in Prescott Valley, AZ and a few others have serious got tickets for like 2-5 over the limit thats how the cops are here. They are well know for the worst officers and the most traffic school students in this area are from this town, recently I have heard they have been investigated for a bunch of offenses.
