Need Opinions On Possible Trade!

The more and more I think about it a HX really has no use for mods compared to LX and EX. So I was wondering if I should trade my HX for a LX or EX...if so which one? I want a stick, and I want something I can add a lot of HP to. Also AC and a sunroof would be nice too! Take a look at the link above my signature picture on work off the pics. Details on my HX:

- Less then 16,000 Miles
- AutoMatic
- 34/42 MPG
- No problems mechanically
- No problems anywhere else...does still need the 10,000/15,000 maitnance..as all of em do! Service is due next week!
- In Excellent/Mint shape
- Added a CD Player instead of cassette (OEM)

Like I said leave your input there as well as let me know what I maybe able to get. I pay around $250 every month and I am willing to pay $15-30 extra.

well bro, if you really think about it any turbo that comes out for our 7th gen's will be most likely (99% chance) for the ex since it has VTEC

sorry, have no idea what your ride is worth but good luck

get the EX. . its a good one.. i have it and they have a magority of parts for it. . my homeboy has the HX. .and i think the only thing bad about it is their is no air conditioning. . . IMO just stick with it. . but other than that. .an EX goes faster and is the second best to the Honda civic line. . .right after the Si. . . heheh thats my two cents!

Take the EX, it has A/C and sunroof and better performance than the DX
but cost a bit more also. The mods $$ are higher too.

IMO, the RSX doesn't look as cool as our cars from the rear 3/4, and only marginally better from the front. go for an EX, it's got all the goodies. personally, I don't care too much for performance (that's for after I get my master's or doctorate when I can afford it), so I'm just trying to make my car pretty I also hate financing, though... they really screw you on that one.

Looks like I'm trading for an EX...just got to find one where I don't have to put a lot of money down to get it in my budget.

If you are going to stay with the civic, get an ex. It's got most of the goodies and the nicer engine.

Spend the extra $$$ to get the Si. As soon as the price goes down to MSRP of course. Otherwise it's not worth it. The Si looks sick in person

The si is $19440 and while it is very nice I would rather have the ex. There is no truck in the si and quite frankly it looks like a girls car.

Having some trouble finding one, I almost would hate to get a Sedan no offence to those who have it, but everything except the rear end looks good on it, just don't like it in my opinion

Have you considered other cars outside of Honda/Acura? You might want to take a look around and test drive some. Trading a civic for a civic isn't my idea of a great trade.

Some cars to consider would be...

Acura EL
Hyundai Tiberon
Mazda Protoge 5
Mazda 2003 Protoge

.. and others of course... just my 0.02c

went checked out the EX, SWEET! I'm in love! Thing is I pay on average $250-$260 a month and I have payed already $4,000 towards my car. They are only going to give me $500 for my car, and have payments at $339 a month..it's $15,995. They want to get this deal done so quick and everything. I know I'm gonna keep my wing, because I'll demand it! I waited so patiently for it n e ways...LoL(all my Marketplace peeps know where I'm comming from). So I think I am gonna demand payments be lowered to $315-325. They are gonna make money off my car anyway, why not let me get a piece! I need your thoughts everyone again on possible decisions. Maybe some helpful car buying tips would be nice since I usually let one of my family members do the talking! Tahnks again everyone for your comments and those who lent support!

why bother trading it for a ex? it's just as slow just keep your hx and be happy about the car, you cna do the same mods on that as all the civics right now, so why worry trading? and automatic is not gonna make a difference on the speed between that extra 17 hp at the FLYWHEEL

well if are planning to stick with the civic, get the EX since it will usually be the first trim to receive aftermarket parts
