Everyones Opinion on Why you Chose a Civic

sup everyone,
i just wanted to know like why we picked the 2001 and up Honda Civic... we could of picked anyother car...but we had chosen the civic...
i had my civic for around 8 months now...just plain stock but planning to add modifications...and i just wanted to know ya know why we like (or dislike) our civics...
i personally think they look really, really nice dudes...and when i see those modifications im like wow dude that looks tight
just want people opinion on why civics are tight (or maybe not tight)

I order you to go to the WEST forums! We're having a meet this weekend and it's not too far from you. Wanna join us?

First thing that attracted me to the Civic were the taillights. Then i went from there... gas mileage... safety... functionality... aftermarket support (for show, NOT go). For a show car, i could not have picked a better car.

I chose the 2001 Civic because it had nice style, it was affordable, Many mod parts are made for civics in general, and it's small..but not too small. And as always, Hondas won't break down on you even when you drive the hell out of them!

It was just the best small car overall that I drove. Mileage and durability were at the top of my list, with all other considerations secondary. I would love to have a fast and furious car, but really, 99% of the driving all of us do everyday is routine transportation. Also, I had a Dodge Dakota which had 125K miles on it. Nothing was wrong with it--made two great trips from Indiana to California and back with it, but the fuel cost was killing me and I knew it would be up for big time repairs eventually. The only thing I miss about it is the height. Everything else the Civic wins hands down.

I chose the civic for several reasons...
1. Honda is known for making reliable cars that last 10 years +
2. Great gas mileage
3. Price
4. I've wanted a civic since I got my first car when I was 16. So car shopping was pretty easy... I had my heart set on a civic.

I'd have to say that I'm slightly disappointed with the fact that its much harder to get any performance out of these engines, unlike past generations of civics. But other than that I LOVE my civic. And I like the body style of the 7th gen civics a lot.

I've always wanted a Civic myself. They have great aftermarket support. Great resale because they are good quality made cars. 34-38mpg didn't hurt either... esp with the gas prices going up as they are. Definitely wanted a show car not a go car. I already have enough tickets... I don't need any more. It's all about the little things. Which is why I was glad I got the EX not the LX. It's the little things that I'm liking. Yeah... the HP isn't super high... but we also don't have recalls every other month because we don't have sub par parts.

The reasons I choose a Civic:

Heard it will last 150,000-200,000 miles if well kept and maintained! Good on gas. Relighable, not many times driving down the road do you see civics broke down anywhere. V-Tec engine. Mod's! Good price for a great car. Popular. Sporty! So on and so on....
