Your take: NEW Honda Fit
Your take: NEW Honda Fit
Just curious what you guys think of the new Honda Fit. Me and my wife are looking for a nice little compact for her. She likes the Fit Sport as well as i do. But i need help convincing her. She also like the Suzuki reno too, which is nice. But for price and options i say go with the fit you know. your opinions welcome..

I think the Honda Fit is an awesome little car and i forgot which magazine it was but it handles corners like crazy. I think it would be and awesome little car to have as a commuter.
I love the Fit. Its a beautiful car. Great milage, lots cargo space. Not to mention, there are a lot of JDM goodies too.
But don't forget to take a look at the Toyota Yaris..that car is amazing!

The FIT Has Actually Been on the J.D.M for a couple of years now. It Has a Solid Root In the Honda Company so you cant go wrong with it.

The Fit was 1 of the top selling cars in Asia for a while. I feel the Fit is better for local commuting and some highway driving. But....... there is always the K20 swap for future plans heehee. Suzuki well, just not reliable enough.
bet ya never been in a 650cc car before huh?
It depends on what you consider worst. IMO, there are a good amont of American motors and some Jap motors that are worst than the engine in the Fit.

See i really like the car. For the mileage factor, the appeal factor of it being a different car out there. Its nice to look at, especially in the blaze orange metallic, as well as the black. i mean this car is more for my wife to go back and forth to work. And for me to sink useless amounts of money into a slow car, but something we can do together. Shes slowly allowing me to build mine. And i think it would be cool to both have a nice pair of Honda's hooked up. Of course we've also thought about an xB, but with the Fit the options/safety features/and all out Honda quality, you just cant go wrong.

safety and reliabilty is definately good! 6 air bags is it? I think you have a lot here to convince your wife is buying a Fit. xB is cheaper though.... but not much.

The Fit Is an Excellent Vehical, Its NOT a Sports car, Its Soul Perpouse is an Econ Car, ya know.. the kind that people drive around to get to places around town, pick up there kids, go to the store,...maybe the beach.. its perfect for what it is maid for, and perfect to compeat aginst the P.O.S scion AX or whatever the hell its called. HONDA REPRESENT!!!!!! lol
The Suzuki Reno was ranked last and Honda Fit came in first in Car and Driver's 7 subcompact comparison test 2 months ago. The Reno is a Daewoo under the skin. Which one do you want now?

See im all in for getting the Fit. my wife on the other hand is still having seconds thoughts. Mostly due to the Aveo resemblance, which i continue to tell her i dont see it. They may similar dimensions. But nothing out there looks quite like the Fit does. I saw a Black sport the other day, with the HFP wheels on it. Looked sweet. Im excited, just gotta wait till our dealership gets one, make my wife drive it. Fall in love with it. Then steal it from her, lol.

IMO I like the New Honda Fit, it is an all around great economy car. I am also thinking about getting one and turning my Civic into a complete show car. Also I would keep it in the Honda family and would never think about getting a Suzuki Reno or any kind of Suzuki.
