Mileage to ownership period?
Hi, I don't post much here but I figured I'd post something in the right forum for once.
I'm driving an 03 LX with 42000 (roughly) kilometres on it. I've kept good care of it and have yet to experience a problem.
In this thread I was hoping to get an idea of where everyone else is at with their Civics and how much distance they've put it through during the years.
Come ennnn, let's GO!

I could not find the 1 year thread. At 1 year I was at @ 22K miles. Had and oil leak (oil pan gasket and special washers used to fix) Also noticed "residue" near in/out fittings on steering rack. (they tightened them) Also the black trim below passenger wiper was warped and they replaced it.
My average is about 400+ miles per week, (use it for work and pleasure) Has been very close to perfect for me.

Wow, so I'm still relatively low eh?
I'm thinking I can keep it under 60 000 by the time the end of the lease rolls around. I'll probably buy it out and sell it...hopefully I can make a bit seeing as the buyout is something like 8-9k.

Bought in August of 2001 with 3 miles on it.
Now it has 108,000+ miles.
Other than the auto transmission, motor mounts, 2 master window switches, a loose fuel line connection, headlight harness, rattling exhaust pipe, wheel bearing, and catalityc convertor, its been serving me well.

Bought it in May 2002. just tip 56k miles. The car was brought in to get the airbig sensor fixed. the slushbox seems to shift better now that i added Transcool into the atf. Beside those, i have rattles and the loose drivers seat.
2001 LX Sedan 5 speed. Bought 05/30/2001. 122k miles.
The only problems I've had are a burnt up headlight harness 6 months before the recall and 1 blown shock at 100k miles. Also, the SRS light keeps coming on. I keep resetting it, but it keeps coming back. I haven't had time to take it to a Honda dealer to get them to tell me what the code is. It got hit with hail, but I never fixed it. I tell people that its like the dimples on a golf ball; it makes me fly straighter.

Got mine 6 months ago, October 10th, 2005, its got 8100 miles on it now. Would really only have 5100 but I drove it to Florida and back. 2005 EX SE Coupe. Not my primary car either, thats why it has little miles

Bought mine brand new in Oct 2002 with 7 miles on it, now has about 49,000 miles. Other then some rattles and squeeks its been very reliable and hasnt failed me yet. I'm still on the original brakes to and do all the servicing myself.

Bought mine Feb. 26, 2003(according to Honda it was the 28th because the salesmen screwed up the paperwork) with 18 miles on the dial. I am currently at about 42,300miles. Not much longer and I should have it paid off
