as far as i know u dont need anything else... TYC brand is good quality ****, i think u may need new bulbs though, someone else will have to answer that one since i have an 04. the light amount will probably be about the same with the TYCs since they are good projectors, it def. wont be more. if you got HIDs with those it would be dope though.

no, projectors are just a different housing for the headlight bulbs... instead of it reflecting off chrome plates behind it like a stock one, it just has a little lense in front of it that spreads the light out in the appropraite directions... like a telescope i guess? HIDs are High Intensity Discharge bulbs that actually draw power from your battery and use it to excite xenon gas inside the bulbs which is what creates the light instead of electrical current going through a filiment like on normal bulbs. HIDs are like 3-4 times more powerful than normal bulbs, but they have nothing to do with projectors or not, though many luxory cars taht come stock with HIDs do use projectors... examples of cars that dont are the last generation of TL (not the new ones with projectors), or the G35s. i suggest ordering those then going to the group buy or retail sales forum on this website and going to the HID for sale thread and asking Xenon (whatever his full name is.... the guy running the sale), what else you would need to put HIDs in those TYC projectors. itll run you 250 for the HIDs from that group buy which is a very good deal for HIDs. good luck!
EDIT: his name is Xenith. heres the link to his thread http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=225867 i suggest getting 6000k or 8000k HID bulbs from him to avoid police giving you HID tickets. HIDs of anything above 4300K are illegal i believe, but you can get away with 6000K easy, and most def 8000K as well. 4300K is what luxory cars that come with HIDs use. Ask him for more info on how to fit those into your TYC projectors, i guarentee he will know exactly what you need, many other people have the same setup. Yes, its all a good idea, if i had an 01-03 i would already have TYCs with HIDs from Xenith in them. i beleive the correct bulb size for the TYCs is like H1 or something.. maybe H3... dont hold me to it though, only trying to help. ask Xenith for more information!
the XXXXK value for the HIDs is the color temperature, the lower the number, the more white it is, higher the number, the more blue/purple it is. if you get 6000K they will be extremely crisp white, 8000K will be more blue, 10000K will start to get purple, and 12000K will be ridiculously purple and crazy illegal/aftermarket looking.
EDIT AGAIN: here is a quote from Xenith, the first 2 posts in that thread were a question about fitment into the TYC projectors. heres what he said:
Xenith: "Hi there,
If the TYC's are H1 and your car is still an H4 harness, you would need to special order a setup with H1 bulbs and H4 ballasts, but it can be done."
so ask him if you can do that for the TYC headlights, he will hook ya up bro. alright im finally done now.
