I wish they would of made it a little different in looks then the regular 5 series.... it looks almost identical. They should of gave it mroe of that M3 look that can be noticed apart very wasily with a regular 3 series Ci.

You can definitely tell the difference between that and a 3 series come on. I think the older m5s are harder to tell apart than 5 series. All beamers look alike, the m6 looks like a 6 series.
I was thinking i would like it in a manual, but then i read up on it. Its no triptronic, its probably the best transmission in the world right now, it shifts faster than any thing besides F1.

I think he was saying the differance between the M5 and the rest of the 5 series. It has only a few cues that it's not a normal 5 series BMW

yes its an smg, sequential shift. the m3's have em, murcielagos and gallardos do too, and lots of others. it has a clutch, but it engages and disengages automatically, and of course the gears are in line.. i.e. no going from 2nd to 4th

I thought he said three series, but still it looks just as diferent as the m3-3 series IMO.
yeah the enzo has one, i think it may be a little faster, not sure though. The 360 modena, the 360 gtc, and 575 gtc have six speed sequentials.
The m5 gear box has seven gears and is faster than everything except enzo, i would rather have it than m anual,
