Because that would mean dropping the STi/WRX/Imprezza from the American market, and I doubt that Subaru would do that.I see a lot of aftermarket bumpers for this car's future...

Rep Power: 0 I can see someone releasing a kit for that car the day it comes out because they'll be countless owners clammering to get one. They should call it the Subaru Aztek, because I can see this front fascia lasting just about as long as that car did.

Rep Power: 0 It's supposed to look like an airplane, to reflect Fuji Heavy Industries' history as an aircraft builder. Or at least that's what my Subaru fan boy friends tell me. The current Subarus are *** ugly, no one buys em because they're pretty, they buy them for the engineering and resulting performance. While this could take some getting used to, I doubt it will kill Impreza sales like everyone here would expect.

Rep Power: 0 Theres no reason you can't have performance and a decent looking car though. Peronsally I think the current STI is hotness on wheels, despite the fact that the hood scoop could swallow up a seagull.
The car looks bad the way it looks now but it can be fixed.
The trunk can be traded for a wingless oneash with a 2.5RS / WRX owner.
Then use some of the cash to pick up 04 or 05 stock taillights.
Use the rest of the money to buy an aftermarket front grill.
Should looks better after that.
