It's become very obvious to me that you haven't the slightest clue of what you're talking about. So, open up wide, and have a nice big spoon full of pride.
Next time, at least know what you're talking about when conversing with a Corvette enthusiast
Oh and sorry, it will put out 505 hp, not 500 hp, my mistake

The C6 Z06 will be available this fall (incase you chose to ignore the picture)
But, ya know, whatever, right, kid

z06's officially don't go on sale until August. That is most likely a Dealers car. I have several friends in the redline club that have them on order already.
However, The track z06s have been out for a season and they are currently a couple racing in Le mans class GT against the Factory run Cadi CTSV
Last weekend they raced at ohio speed way. I think they are impressive cars in general.
The price hasnt even been released yet but everyone is speculating on an MSRP of 65 grand. Cool shots of it though.. i like the engine note of thier high reving v8's

For those of you who think that nobody has a C6 Z06 yet, you need to read up. David Hill (he's a big boy over at GM) has been taking a Z06 around to events to let fans look at it and such.
If anyone has a problem believing me or any other person who can actually read, check it out at http://www.corvettemuseum.com/regist...m/agenda.shtml.
And as a side note, if I didn't need it for shifting, I'd give my left leg for a C6 Z06.

Corvette C6-R

You're probably thinking of the SpeedTV GT class, which is a totally seperate series, which is where the Cadillac CTS-V runs.

Exactly, which proves that Titleist doesn't have a clue on what he's talking about

Just one more thing....I don't believe that's a real Z06. Anyone can go buy a C6 and put Z06 tags on it. And have seat covers with Z06 stitched. Both cars look EXACTLY the same. Look that what some of you F#cks do to a USDM Civic trying to make it look "JDM". But anyways the Z06 has the larger engine....same car. I don't know anything about the Corvette tho....just like you assume. You kids see something and assume it's real.
Also your a posterboy for the

I feel the interior class is at the level of and civic SI...at bit too cheap for a super car.

Also your a posterboy for the
of the Year Award. They have a different steering wheel that is smaller in diameter and they are wide body, which includes carbon fenders and a wider front fascia with a hood scoop. They also have a carbon fiber raised hood to support the new engine. More stuff to notice are things such as the 5 piston brakes in which the back are vented by side scoops and its own unique open throttle exhaust system. Internally the frame is no longer hydro formed steel but aluminum and the T-top has been permanently bolted to provide extra rigidity of the frame. The struts have been upgraded and yet it still maintains the Leaf Springs. The Leaf springs are in fact highly effective because its lighter than using a traditional setup and yet it still provides the needed independent suspension on the chassis. That’s just stuff you cannot duplicate unless you got lots of cash to spare. .

Don't for get the hood scoop, only the Z06 has that
and the projector style blinker
go here and look at the Z06, you see the differance like the 3 prong steering wheel, you don't just duplicate the steering wheel, particuarly when it has an airbag.

Looks like you're the only one who will be receiving high-heels and dress tonight, dear
Moving on, I'm not going to even bother taking the time and effort to find a way to explain something to you so that you can actually understand it, anymore. Believe what you want, but you're too bull-headed and ignorant to listen to ANYONE else who knows more than you. Your mental maturity annoys me, and your ignorance astonishes me.
So go ahead, kid (which I assume you are merely a teenager, younger than myself and others who know what they're talking about in this thread) and believe what you want, ignorance truly is bliss in your eyes

Once again

Well, I'm not calling names, but that certianly looks like a Z06 to me, there is way to much on the car not to be, I don't see why anyone would spend that much to make it look like a car it's not. Nobody here will spend that kind of money on there civic. But who's to say the guy driving it isn't a VIP in GM? And there is no reason to lock the thread, that's the first Z06 I've heard anyone has seen on the streets.

Common person no, but he lives in Pa, that's not far from Detriot. Not impossible for a VIP to head over there... I've seen a few prototypes in Akron-Cleveland areas before

what's wrong with you people? performance costs money, whether it's interior performance (alcantra leather, grain matched walnut inserts) or real performance (a hand-built all aluminum 7 liter race motor that spins to 7K RPMs) I know which one I want my bias on if was spending $65K.
As soon as I am finished with Chiro school and the practice is up and going, I am using my stepmom's gm discount and getting the Z06 no questions asked. The Z06 is the only car I truly love. I drove a C5 and fell in love, I can't wait to drive the new one. These cars are truly amazing machines. Oh yeah, once they come out with an ATI procharger that will be put on, and borla exhaust. They are the best bang for your buck.

BTW, M3 is like $50k, you can spend 10k on an active autowerke turbo and kill the Z06 or Viper, but modding is a different story I guess
