[SIZE=1][FONT=Arial Black]Ok, i have a 2002 4dr civic lx w/ a d17.... it is show quality now.... and i want to make it quick... first with a 5 speed tranny then well thats my question... what should i do after that and can a d17 actually be fast because i never read about them getting fixed up... please reply[/SIZE]

bottom line is, the only way to make ANY honda D series engine fast is to turbocharge or supercharge it.... but it depends on what you consider fast as well.

dude, if you want serious speed, the only way is to go turbo or swap. i suggest you search and read up in the swap/FI forum.
